Today, my purpose as a mentor is fulfilled.
3 months back, the placement season started and I started posting relatable posts to provide a helping hand to all the students.
During that time, I received more than 500 CVs and messages from students.
They wanted me to screen their CVs but I could only help a handful due to time constraints.
I also helped a few of them with one-on-one mentorship.
Since I started giving mentorship, 20 of my mentees have been placed in reputed firms and MNCs till now.
Whomsoever I could help, today are placed in brands like McKinsey and Company, Bain and Co, Nykaa, Loreal, Cisco, Kotak Mahindra, ITC, Nestle, Microsoft, PwC, Myntra, Accenture, Cognizant, Wipro, Deloitte, and a few start-ups.
I wanted to give them a direction so that they can lay their stepping stones on that path.
I believe that even if you give a small push to others, you never know how much it can impact their lives and do wonders for them.
Today, when I receive their messages, I get happier than them.
My only role in the whole process was guiding them and providing them a helping hand, but the preparation and the hard work they have put into it is what really got them the opportunities.
I had my trust that they could do it.
This post is just for the purpose of appreciating their diligence, dedication, and success.
Today, they have reaped what they sow.
